Mr. Bernstein is a senior statesman of Intellectual Property law-having practiced for close to 50 years in the area. His practice consists of all aspects of Intellectual Property law, with particular emphases in litigation in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields and in chemical and pharmaceutical patent application preparation and prosecution. Mr. Bernstein is an adjunct professor at Temple University Law School, teaching patent litigation, and is also an adjunct professor at Drexel University, teaching patent law to engineers. He is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Patent Law Association (now The Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association). He has been a co-planner and speaker at numerous continuing legal education seminars sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Mr. Bernstein received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and his law degree, with honors, from The George Washington University. Dedicated to public service work, Mr. Bernstein Alan has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. and the Jewish Employment and Vocational Service.
