Mr. Marzluf has practiced Intellectual Property law for over 30 years. His practice is devoted to matters involving intellectual property litigation, particularly patent, trademark and copyright infringement and unfair trade practices, and transactional matters involving intellectual property. In addition, Mr. Marzluf counsels clients in all matters relating to intellectual property management, protection and exploitation, such as negotiations and preparation of licenses, employment contracts, secrecy agreements, and settlements. He is also responsible for preparation and prosecution of patent, trademark and copyright applications and appeals, due diligence studies and intellectual property acquisitions.

Due to his many years of trial work, Mr. Marzluf has particular emphasis and experience in representing clients in the federal courts and before the various Patent and Trademark Office boards, including: preliminary investigations and research; motion practice; discovery; trials; and appeals. His practice further includes client counseling on matters ranging from new technology and scientific developments to artistic creations and trademark protection. Specific areas of involvement include: rendering of opinions concerning patentability, trademark availability, infringement and validity of patents, trademarks and copyrights; and licensing of inventions, patents and trademarks.
