Mr. Tinari's practice is split between complex Intellectual Property litigation matters and patent prosecution. He has particular experience in prosecuting patents in the electronics, telecommunications and software fields including mechanical utility patents. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Tinari was an electronic and software engineering consultant for Tinari Engineering where he designed electronic hardware and software for microprocessor-based instruments for a wide range of products including commercial and military aircraft instruments, physical therapy monitors and coal fire detection devices. From 1981-1989, he was a design engineer with Litton Industries' Clifton Precision Division where he designed digital and analog circuitry and software for microprocessor-based equipment, including aircraft instruments, ship's radar displays, inertial navigation equipment, servo motor controls, and search and rescue devices. A graduate of Temple University (magna cum laude 2001), Mr. Tinari was a member of the Temple Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree from Drexel University in Electrical Engineering (B.S. cum laude 1981).

Paris v. R.P. Scherer, Inc.- Represented inventor in patent infringement and contract action for soft-gel drug capsule technology dispute.

Johnson & Matthey v. Research Tech.- Represented plaintiff in $200 million contract and fraud action for pharmaceutical intellectual property royalties.

Randolph v. Wright Medical- Defense of royalty claims for patented bone matrix product.

IMO Industries- National trial counsel team member in asbestos defense litigation.

IKON Office Solutions - enforced non-compete agreements of former salespersons in national sales force for office products and services leader.

Senior Advisor to ArtWatch International. Artwatch International is an international advocacy organization for the conservation and stewardship of historically significant works of art and cultural monuments.

Alumnus of the Art Department of the Barnes Foundation, Merion, Pa. Spearheaded efforts in the 1990s to preserve the foundation's unique educational program and prevent the sale and dismantling of the foundation's collection of post impressionist and early modern works of art in derogation of the founder's indenture of trust.

Marple Township Antenna Advisory Committee. Advised township commissioners on issues relating to placement of cellular telephone antenna towers. Participated in drafting township's zoning code for antenna placement.
