One of the most active intellectual property litigators in the country, Mr. Silver represents global and U.S. companies in a wide range of litigation. His litigation practice has emphasized complex Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDA) under the Hatch-Waxman Act for generic pharmaceutical companies for generic equivalents to such products as Hectorol®, Acular®, Cardizem®, Fortical®, Hectorol®, Miacalcin®, Plavix®, Prilosec®, Tiazac® and Zolpidem®. On the patent side, Mr. Silver has been involved in U.S. and foreign prosecutions in the mechanical, chemical, pharmaceutical, biomedical and biotechnical disciplines. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Mr. Silver has also been an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Silver has also been involved in numerous trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the USPTO and has had extensive experience in interferences, and inter partes and ex parte reexamination proceedings in the chemical field. Mr. Silver chairs the Litigation Committee of Caesar Rivise.
