Mr. Clare is an on-site Technical Advisor to the firm who provides lawyers and clients in the firm's patent prosecution practice with insight into competitive strategies, innovation and technical support to help them secure patents. Until recently, Mr. Clare had been the Director of Technology Development Worldwide for Checkpoint Systems (NYSE:CKP), a multinational security electronics firm. At Checkpoint, Tom established the intellectual property support group to manage a portfolio of over 5,000 patent and trademark properties in 80 nations worldwide. For over a decade, Tom was the technical lead on projects developing consumer, industrial and aerospace sensor systems. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Engineering School (B.S.E. E. 1989), Tom received his M.B.A from Yale University (2003). He holds 6 US patents and has more pending.
