Mr. Castillo's practice includes all aspects of Intellectual Property law with an emphasis on pharmaceutical litigation and patent contests arising under Paragraph IV patent challenges under the Hatch-Waxman Act and the prosecution of patents related to the chemical arts. Mr. Castillo has extensive experience at the district and appellate courts and has been actively involved throughout all stages of the litigation from preparation of Notice letters, discovery, motions, brief writing, depositions, Markman claim construction issues and preparation of experts and fact witnesses. He is a member of the firm's ANDA Litigation Team. Fluent in French and Spanish, Mr. Castillo dedicates a portion of his practice to foreign client matters. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
